Turn and Burn Pottery is the name of the Seagrove pottery studio belonging to David and Deborah Garner open since 1985. Much of the work out of this studio is signed D.B. Garner, but I have seen several other pieces signed by others. I have seen many works signed DB Garner attributed to David Garner, but I saw it said once somewhere I thought was reliable but that I can't find works signed DB Garner are made by the couple together. Probably both of these things are true, as a lot of couples who work together divide their work and don't fuss too much about who takes credit (especially in pottery, it seems). David's full name is David Bryant Garner, so that is probably why they sign it that way. David Garner is from a line of potters 300 years long and is a former mayor of Seagrove. David has been a potter over 45 years and worked for Ben Owen, Sr., and Waymon Cole at J.B. Cole Pottery. Deborah and David sign each piece with a scripture, and it seems others at their shop do the same.
In addition to the DB Garner signature, there is a DB GARNER stamp that is below a stag that I have seen on an accompanying lid.
Deborah's full name is Deborah Jane Garner.
One turners initials have been L.R.B. Pieces signed LRB have been dated 1991 and 1992
Looks like one decorators initials were M Y.
One decorator was named DM Long.
